tomorrow night is the bud shoot out in daytona. i think it's going to prove to be quite interesting. there was wrecking and beating and banging going on during practice. kurt busch and tony stewart were slamming into each other on the way to pit road.
we watched the last part of nascar live and then trackside tonight. i was hoping my elliott sadler was going to be on there, but he wasn't. :( i think that darrell waltrip is on their 1st half of the season while fox is broadcasting the races and then elliott will take over 2nd half.
i do have to say i was not happy to see dave despain as the host tonight of nascar live. i'm hoping that's just a "special" daytona thing with the shootout. i hope speed execs aren't switching things up like they did a couple of years ago. i like john roberts being the anchor of nascar live. i might have to send another email or two with my 2 cents...lol. i did that when they removed ralph shaheen from one of the nascar shows that he co-hosted with krista voda. she left to pursue another career path for a while. speed execs tried to replace them with the hip, young things and to my delight the show bombed. they sexed it up too much and it was a train wreck waiting to happen. i guess they were trying to attract a younger audience but it didn't work. i don't think the show lasted 4 weeks.
so hope everyone has a good weekend! i'm going to go to bed now. :) i'm such a light-weight...lol...who would have guessed i used to be a night owl?!
