saturday rain

we have finally gotten some much needed rain. it has rained practically all day long. we need probably a steady week or two of rain to help us recover from the drought we have had this year. hopefully some of the other areas, especially the atlanta area, are getting rain as well.

janelle is in columbia right now with the youth group. they went to see a christmas play at one of the churches up there. it's a big production with live animals and everything. mom and dad went a couple of years ago and they said it is a powerful production. i am going to try to go next year to see it. everyone who has seen it says it's wonderful.

believe it or not, my knee hasn't hurt as bad today as it has earlier in the week. on tuesday i was up moving around a lot, packing my desk, cleaning, etc. i think i might have overdone the physical activity so soon after my surgery. that's probably why i hurt so bad on wednesday and thursday too. i didn't have enough recovery time and pushed it b/c i was feeling pretty good over the weekend. i spent a fair part of the day knitting and watching tv with my legs propped up.
