yarntopia

i know...stupid title. i went to hobby lobby this morning and got a great deal on yarn. they were having a 99 cent a skein sale on several kinds that i like. i got $80 worth of yarn for about $15. whooo hooo!! i was excited about that. and the other good thing was i found the rust colored yarn i wanted to make pat's scarf.

i went to wal-mart afterwards. i was kind of dreading going there especially on the weekend after thanksgiving. good news is i shopped on the grocery side of the store so it wasn't so bad. i got the usual waffles, hill bros english toffee cappucino, but found some snacks for me this week. quaker rice cakes - peanut butter and chocolate chip - one cake is 1 point on weight watchers. i tried one when i got home...delicious. i also got the toasted wheat thins - vegetable garden flavor. those where good too. i'm trying to add some variety to my diet program so i won't get bored.

mom is fixing us digiorno thin crust pizza tonight. that's a pretty good supper with a big salad. i've got some plain yogurt in the fridge that's straining its way into yogurt cheese. a recipe i saw in weight watchers called for yogurt cheese, toasted walnuts and honey. that's going to be my treat tonight. :)

well, i'm going to go now. i've got to catch up on some email.
