before i go to bed. i've had a nice relaxing day knitting and watching tv with janelle. she started knitting her first project today. she's not sure if she's going to make a scarf or a bag first. she was getting a little frustrated so i told her to put it down and pick it up tomorrow.
we're going to meet donna and her daughter at starbucks for coffee and knitting. i told janelle she could get helpful hints from them as well. i might not be explaining some of it quite right. i'm excited about the fact that she has taken an interest in knitting. she was excited, too, when she realized all the things she could make. i'm hoping she'll stay with it. i might see if she wants me to sign her up for a class with mrs. barbara. i'm self-taught so i might not be doing things quite right...lol.
